2021 Quilt Challenge

Temperature quilt - "record" daily high/low temperatures starting on January 1st
and going through June 20, 2021. You may choose any pattern to show this, from something as simple as strips or squares, to complex blocks. For instance, you could do a Log Cabin block each day, with the highs and lows both shown, or make a "coin" quilt using simple strips. Or you could make more complex star blocks showing the high and low colors for that day. Size of quilt is quilter's choice as is the pattern of the fabrics used. (If you should fall behind on your daily temp, google this info

These colors are to be used for the temperatures:

90 degrees and higher = Dark red/Cardinal red
                                80-89 degrees = Red
                                70-79 degrees - Magenta/Bright pink
                                60-69 degrees = Orange
                                50-59 degrees = Yellow
                                40-49 degrees = Yellow green
30-39 = Kelly or dark green
                                20-29 = Colbalt blue/True blue
                                10-19 = Purple
Below 10 degrees Black or Slate Gray

Challenge quilts will be displayed and vote for favorites at July monthly meeting.

Many quilters have expressed a desired to continue their quilt through the entire year, so quilts do not have to be completed by July meeting. Bring what you have done.
