Down to less than two weeks and counting!  The next Kansas City Regional Quilt Festival is scheduled to be held June 15 - 17, 2017, at the Overland Park Convention Center in Overland Park, Kansas.  You can visit the official web page for more information on this event, and also go to the facebook page to get updates and announcements.
The Regional Quilt Festival has announced the quilt challenge for the 2017 event....  Interested?  Here is a list of the "Rules and Requirements"  for entering the challenge.  You have almost a whole year, get quilting!
Updates:   In May 2017 it was announced that there would be a free shuttle running from the Shawnee Mission South High School to the Overland Park Convention Center during the show.  This is great news as parking is always tight due to the large crowds!  Here is a link to a map showing the location of the school and the convention center.

There were originally 22 quilts entered into the challenge for the display quilts, and now are down to 20.  Of those there were FIVE entered by members of our guild.  Way to go ladies !!!
